Volunteer

The volunteer experience at the Waco Family Medicine is designed to suit the personalities, time demands, and needs of both the volunteer and the clinic system.  Whether you are looking to make a difference in the community, build relationships, or you are needing hours for school, we understand there is no one right way to volunteerism and therefore we work to create an enjoyable, rewarding, and productive experience for all those involved.

No experience is required to volunteer at the Waco Family Medicine.  Since 2015, hundreds of volunteers have volunteered thousands of hours of their time.  Whether it’s assembling new patient packets, making copies, prepping and cleaning rooms, or reading books to children in the waiting rooms, our volunteers get it done and have fun doing so.

You may also volunteer by serving on our Patient and Family Advisory Council. Patient and Family Advisors provide a voice that represents all patients and families of patients who receive care at Waco Family Medicine. This group meets regularly to advise Waco Family Medicine on how to provide better patient-centered care.
